Alfred Ehrhardt’s early work “The tideland” is considered a high point of Avantgarde photography. He captured abstract structures in the sand at the beach, ever-changed by wind

and water. His photographs are accompanied by digital prints of contemporary artist David Batchelder (*1939). Unlike Ehrhardt he explores, in the same subject, the chaotic and

surreal.
